All recurring memberships have been shut off and Fitli has been disabled. No need to book in advance for now; simply show up to class.

November donations can be made thru Venmo, Zelle, Cash app, real cash, or just tell Kumu eric to use the card on file for whatever amount :)

We plan to fully open in early January. We may have a soft opening in mid/late December depending on installation.
The location is at Ohana Kenpo Karate.
**Due to the much more limited space, we are not accepting new members for now**
Should we open enrollment, it will only be through your word of mouth, returning Altruist/Pit students, Ohana Kenpo Karate students, and only IF there is space in class.
Yelp, Google biz, and the phone number will be taken down. IG and FB will remain but infrequently updated, with more emphasis on YouTube. Those that need to reach me, my personal cell will always be available (805) 478-2129.

Are you still a non profit?
Helping the community is still a very big part of our mission but I am navigating the pros/cons of maintaining a “non profit” designation.
Are all the Kumu’s still teaching?
Yes, especially Kumu Elijah and Sabrina :)
Will Coach Sharif still having boxing?
Saturday and Sunday for now to start…and it’s FREE if you are a current member!
What happens if my class is gone?

Do we still have belt testing?
Yes, we will still have the same Altruist MMA ranks and Belt Testing every 4 months.
What if I want to try Ohana Kenpo Karate classes too?
See their schedule below (in light grey). Their rates are $70 month for Kids $90 month for adults. No contracts or autopay. I will introduce the main Ohana Instructor to set up a class with, soon.
Can we help with the move?
We will be packing and cleaning the current location on Monday Nov 28

We will see how the partnership goes but we are committed on being at this location through Sept. 2023.
What will the new schedule look like?
This schedule is sure to be revised but this first pass works (in theory) for the majority of people, while fitting in with Ohana’s schedule. We realize it does not work with everyone’s schedule so here are some options:
My class is gone = talk to Kumu eric about transitioning to a different class for 1 or all days (e.g. Pee Wee’s tries Kids…MMA Workout and Teens goes to Belt Class, etc).
Can still only do 1 day a week = Punch cards and private lessons will be available.
Can’t do any days = Private lessons, talk to Kumu eric about another school that will be a good fit, stay in touch with us through online lessons, and/or hopefully the schedule changes in the future to fit your needs.
I realize that change is difficult but overall this will be a big improvement for our dojo. Feel free to reach out to me with any other questions or comments. Keep training hard!
